Increasing the Exchange 2003 EDB database limit from 16 GB to 75 GB

Exchange Server 2003 must have Service Pack 2 installed.
Start > Run, type regedit to open the Registry Editor.
Then follow the steps below.
Under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\ExchangeServerName\Private-GUID
there should be a DWORD entry named Database Size Limit in GB.
If it does not exist, create it.
Open Database Size Limit in GB, check decimal, then enter the value in GB you wish to grow to.
For example, entering 36 increases the EDB limit to 36 GB.

Exchange Server 2k3 SP2 STANDARD: you can raise from 18 GB up to 75 GB.
Exchange Server 2k3 SP2 Enterprise: you can raise from 18 GB up to 8000 GB.
